A Look at the Details｜ Other Products ｜Rare Character Straight Bourbon Limited Release Batch No.3

Limited Release Batch 03 is Rare Character's cask-strength small batch at 114.36 proof — barrels of different ages and profiles married by Pablo Moix, the palate Whisky Advocate credits for America's hottest whiskey company. Moix, a twenty-year vintage-spirits buyer, and Peter Nevenglosky founded Rare Character in Louisville in 2021, sourcing from Wild Turkey, Willett, Bardstown Bourbon Company, and brokers, sealing every bottle in colored wax; the Limited Release batches blend multiple barrels to a profile, numbered and wax-sealed, built for wider availability than the single barrels. Batch 03 unites Kentucky straight bourbon barrels of different ages, bottled at full proof without dilution — 114.36. The house notes: ripe red fruit, honeyed caramel, and warm baking spice on the nose; dark cherry, dried citrus peel, toasted oak, and nutty undertones on a robust palate; and a finish of lingering vanilla and spice. Expect a fruit-forward, balanced Kentucky blend at a proof that drinks easier than the numbered batches above 120. Honest note: the batches are the findable Rare Character — the way in for the drinker who can't get a single barrel — and 03 is the one to open first, the gentlest proof in the line. Neat, a drop of water. Limited Release, Batch 03.Buy Rare Character Straight Bourbon Limited Release Batch No.3 online with fast shipping right to your door.
