P.A.S.S.: Master of precision
P.A.S.S., or Precision Access Servo System, is the SMSL T2 VMV’s secret weapon against jittery CD playback. Developed over two years, it’s a finely-tuned servo system that ensures your CDs are read quickly and accurately, dodging the common pitfalls of disc errors and vibrations. With SMSL’s custom vibration-damping technology, your music stays uninterrupted, delivering a smooth and stable performance every time.
MQA full decoding
Got a stash of high-res audio files? MQA full decoding is here to treat them like royalty. It doesn’t matter if you’re streaming or USB-ing—you're getting up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512 levels of quality. Plus, with AES/EBU input, this player moonlights as a hardcore MQA decoder.
USB support: Easy peasy connections
Plug in, kick back, and let the USB support do its thing. Handling up to 32-bit/768kHz and DSD512, the T2 VMV gets cozy with Windows, Mac, Android, or iOS.
Digital signal clock relay: Timing is everything
Precision timing without the drama—thanks to the digital signal clock relay. Whether it’s using internal or external clock signals, your music arrives with a clarity that’s all business. Less distortion, more enjoyment.
High-end Bluetooth: Cut the cord, keep the quality
