Daily Spotlight｜Alkaline Trio: From Here To Infirmary (Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP｜ Other Products

Originally released in 2001, From Here to Infirmary is the 3rd studio album from Chicago's Alkaline Trio. Recorded at Pachyderm Studio in Cannon Falls, Minnesota, the band goes for a straightforward sound ("we wanted to tighten the screws a bit, simplify things a little and focus more on punching you in the nuts with our rock"), with satisfying power chords and well written hooks driving the LP. The songs pack a lot of punch, w/ a lot of self-loathing lyrics and constant references to alcoholism "Private Eye," "Mr. Chainsaw," "Stupid Eye," and "Armageddon."
