Jefferson's Reserve Twin Oak Custom Barrel Bourbon Whiskey｜其他商品

Twin Oak is Jefferson's Reserve aged in a barrel that took six years to design with Independent Stave — grooved staves for more surface area, a custom toast-then-char recipe — bottled at 90.2 proof. Trey Zoeller, whose family has made whiskey in Kentucky since the 1790s, founded Jefferson's in 1997, and Twin Oak is his cooperage experiment: Jefferson's Reserve, a very small batch of Kentucky straight bourbons, is transferred into a second barrel built to Zoeller's specification — the staves grooved on the inside to expose more wood, toasted to caramelize the sugars and then charred over the toast — and rested until the second oak shows, then bottled at 90.2 proof. Drinkhacker, B: char, licorice, and clove on an herbal, earthy nose; bold cereal and fresh popcorn on the palate with baking spice, butterscotch, and clove oil. Malt Review and The Bourbon Review both note the toasted-oak sweetness and the heavier body the second barrel adds. Expect a double-oaked bourbon that leans toasted and spiced rather than syrupy — clove, char, and butterscotch over the Jefferson's caramel. Honest note: the double-oaked category is crowded and this is the one with a real cooperage story behind it — for the Woodford Double Oaked drinker who wants more spice and less sugar. Neat or a single cube. Twin Oak, the custom barrel.Buy Jefferson's Reserve Twin Oak Custom Barrel Bourbon Whiskey online with fast shipping right to your door.
